Expansion and strengthening of one step centers
The One-Step Center initiative is one of the best practices learned and pioneered by the Network in The Gambia. it was piloted in 2013 and later expanded to three centers provide holistic quality services to survivors by ensuring medical care, psychosocial support, and legal services.
From 2016 to 2021, NGBV grew the centers to nine, covering all the general and district hospital in the country. Plans are on the way to increase it to eleven centers during the implementation of the successor strategy
